A Relaxing Day Visiting Friends

Gina and I woke up this morning with getting the blog updated. We finally got it finished a little after twelve o’clock. That was a great relief to finally get it updated. We have been so busy that we are looking forward to this week being a relaxing week. After getting the blog updated Haley, Thomas’s girlfriend stopped by to visit with us and to show us her Senior Pictures. She looked beautiful in all the different poses. After she left Gina worked on her new flower bed trying to place the remaining rocks she brought back from Kentucky. Now to me that would be a five minute process. However, it took her over two hours.

After taking a shower and getting dressed we both went over to Jack & Sue’s house to visit with them since we had not seen them since May. While we were there they invited us to stay for dinner. We had grilled T-bone steaks and fresh purple hull peas, green beans with homemade cornbread. Everything was which was delicious. Around eight o’clock we decided that we needed to get back home to relax for the night.

Right before we turned into our driveway we saw the lights on at my sister’s house so we stopped at their house for a few minutes to see the ceramic tile they are installing in their kitchen. The tile will match their newly remodeled cabinets. Rickey, my brother -in-law has done all the work himself and it all looks wonderful and we can’t wait to see it all finished. We made it back home to see two TV shows that we like, “Army Wives” and “Drop Dead Diva”. We finally went to bed around eleven. Today was a wonderful and relaxing day and looking forward to more days like these.
