Happy Anniversary to Ashley, our daughter and Parker. It’s hard to believe it has been four years. Your love for each other brings such joy to those around you. May you both continue to grow in God’s grace throughout the years ahead. We love y'all!!!!
We woke up early yesterday and got on the road to Rapid City. On the way there Pop’s decided to take a different route down a narrow curvy road through Custer State Park. The views were magnificent. We even drove through a narrow tunnel.
First stop was to pick up my truck. It drove great and everything is working like it’s supposed to. From there we went to Lowe’s to pick up pocket doors and more lumber. We then went to Menard’s and bought a shower. We ate a light lunch while driving back home. After everything was unloaded we just relaxed for the afternoon. We should have everything we need now until we start the plumbing. Mom & Pop’s apartment is progressing well. I believe we are still on schedule for the sheetrock to get hung around the beginning of August. The new parking spaces for Mom & Pop’s friends are also progressing and should be finished by this weekend. Mom & Pop's Airstream friends left Tuesday morning heading for the Badlands. Gina and I enjoyed spending time with them. Our prayer is that they have a safe journey while they make their way back to Tallahassee, Florida. We hope to see them down the road again.
We’re still enjoying our morning hikes and I almost forgot we played another softball game Wednesday night and we finally WON. So all together it has been a great week.
Gina & I hope everyone has a pleasant and wonderful day, enjoying what our Father has so graciously blessed us with.

The Black Hills are a beautiful spot, Brenda and I have been there a couple of times but it was really just on our way somewhere else and we stopped in to see the Presidents. After reading Mike's and your posts we are going to have to put it on the list of places to spend some time.
